Tom Hoshall's daughter suffered from severe breathing problems (asthma and allergies) and had to be rushed to the hospital one evening because she couldn't breath in her own home. Tom learned that it was the air quality of their home that had so severely aggravated her condition. Tom set out from that point to learn everything he could about indoor air quality and consequently built a healthy home where his family could live safely, having the overall air quality drastically improved. As a result, others noticed what Tom was doing and wanted him to build their homes. After that, he built a few more, and a few more, and eventually a lot more homes, and Tom found himself in the home-building business. Tom built his family a beautiful healthy home but soon realized that they faced an even more serious problem.
INSECTS! Insects had found their way into the house through tiny areas between the floor and foundation. Controlling these insects with traditional chemical methods was completely out of the question, due to his daughter's asthma.
